Chesterfield is applauded for its cultural attractions such as Barrow Hill Roundhouse Railway Centre and Hotel Van Dyk Theater. Visitors to this welcoming city speak highly of the bars whereas sights include Peak District National Park and Chesterfield Market.
When visiting Chesterfield you just /have/ to visit the parish church; the crooked spire! Also, a little out of the town centre there is the Chesterfield canal, which is a very nice walk towards Staveley. The markets are good too.

Excellent ev charging facilities in Chesterfield - football club has super fast chargers and the Batch house across the road was a great food court for a coffee and lunch whilst we charged

"The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar.
The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable.
Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome.
It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures."
"The staff were lovely, helpful, visible and polite. The food was great for the 50% off which it was that day. The restaurant, reception and room no complaints at all. The only thing I could say to improve would be the stairwell to the rooms wasn’t hoovered and didn’t look like it had been for a while. The carpet was also ripped in a couple of places. "
"The team here are exceptional especially the front desk team. I want to say Grace but it may have been Gemma (bad memory) however the lady was exceptional. Thank you for a great stay "
"It was very good.
But bed was not great quality and we were woken at 3am with all the lights turning on (we were told due to power cut but very odd and scary!) - so sleep was disrupted"
