Everything was within great walking distance, no need to spend money on transport unless during airport transfers etc. Plenty of grocery stores around, and lovely botanical gardens and plazas to visit. Really loved that the beach was less than 15mins

We loved Cadiz - lots of history and culture. Loved walking along the water and going through parks/castle, etc. Cathedral is unbelievable! Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, too.

Fascinating old town with an amazing history. The beautiful cathedral is a must-see and the climb up the bell tower is worth it for the magnificent views.

Buses to Cadiz center are nearby frequent and only €1.20! Fab beach to walk there also. No beach area loungers or umbrellas though, which is a big omission for tourists from afar. Locals use own chairs etc. Restricted number of loungers at pool.

First visit and we loved our three days wandering around the town. Beautiful beach, great choice of cafes and restaurants and plenty of shopping options. The buildings and streets are beautiful and you keep finding new Squares to sit and people watch

By far my favorite city in Spain. Friendly and welcoming with no shortage of fine dining and drinking establishments. Interesting culture and great shopping add to the experience. And the vibe here is like nowhere else in Spain. Highly recommended.

Cadiz is a classic Spanish city and seaport. It does not expect hordes of UK holidaymakers but it certainly does get many Spanish ones. Would definitely go again - in fact we just have been again !

"The room was spacious and clean, with a nice terrace and sea view. The only slight criticism is a lack of drawer storage, so we had to stack clothes on the wardrobe shelves.
The breakfast was very good, with both cooked and cold options.
The location is excellent. Very close to the beach, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants near by."
