Hotel Sercotel Coliseo
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel staff and service was exceptional and the breakfast option was well worth it. I felt very welcome and this hotel had a nice homey feel. Great location for walking distance to main areas but far enough away from any central noise.
My only complaint would be the hot/cold fluctuations with the shower usage. Any time another unit was using the shower at the same time this affected the temperature quite a bit. Tip: shower during the day when not many other guests are around or shower very early or late in the evening."
"Really lovely clean room. Bed was very big and the room was clean. The area is very quiet and it is a good 25 minute walk to the busy areas. It is a little bit uphill on the walk back! Close to a train station and the buses are good. "
"Very comfortable and well designed; delightful roof terrace and breakfast dining. Spa on site also very good. 4/5 because of understaffing at breakfast; a bit of clearing / ordering / seating congestion and slightly ruffled waiters. "
"One of the few 5 star hotels in Bilbao center. Comfortable beds and pillows. Large bathroom. Rooftop bar is great. Hotel is literally across the street from the Guggenheim museum. Very close to the canal which has a great running and biking path along the sides. Walking distance to many restaurants. Service is very friendly. Overall a great stay."
"Awesome hotel, would stay again 100 percent. Staff was friendly, the spa was wonderful, the bar was good. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but plenty of places in walking distance. View was also great. Kind of a commercial district, but still close to sightseeing and old town."
