"This was our first time at The Royal Oak Hotel. Staff were very friendly, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was modern with a rustic yet country feel, comfortable, spacious, and clean. Food was delicious. We had breakfast each morning and dined in the restaurant on the night. Staff were helpful and attentive.

Staff were kind, friendly and made us feel at home. We were so impressed we had dinner - great local food and a great range of drinks in the bar. Bar was frequented by regulars who were friendly and keen to point out their favourite menu choices.

I will return but next time I will go for a larger room as I found the standard sized room bathroom a bit small for my large size frame ( I’m over six feet tall. ). "
