Sad to still see remnants of Hurricane Ian from late September 2022 in and around Ft. Myers Beach, however things are returning. The shops are still opening back up. Love seeing Ft. Myers Beach and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Beach was very nice!

Fort Myers is a fun place to stay. Downtown is great. There was an outdoor super aesthetic place to go dancing. And we went bike riding around the downtown lake area. We visited the Edison / Ford estates and museum near downtown too.

A Small city on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Fort Myers is a good place to relax and slow down. It was very safe, and the people are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it for the relaxed vibe and for the quiet.

It's a city, so lots of traffic. Sanibel.Island is pretty, but there's a toll for the bridge and parking fees. I highly recommend the Babcock Ranch Preserve Eco Tour, fun and nature! Mel's diner is great.

We love Lakes Park. Went there for the second time on this visit. Did not disappoint. Was sad to see that the storm seems to have destroyed many of the gardens and plant life there,

Mediocre 'art festival' (majority non-art vendors; windows, tubs, cannabis stuff, weapon-y knives, made in India dresses, swinging chairs, low end jewelry, nasty printed signs for home)...BUT it got me downtown which was charming, walkable, etc.

Had a great few days in Fort Myers soaking up the sunshine. The beach area down the coast is still In hurricane recovery mode but I found plenty of good places to go. It was a wonderful trip.
