Shout out to the Tate Geological Museum, and especially the senior guide there. The museum was small, but the guide kept the kids interested for well over an hour, which is quite something for six kids between ages of 4 and 12

Be sure to catch the Natural Arch when open. Nice hidden gem for camping or just day trip with your family.

Went to Independence Rock, Lake Alcova, surrounding area rock formations & up Casper Mountain for breathtaking views! Garden Creek Falls is beautiful. Hibachi Asian Buffet was perhaps the best Asian Buffet we've been to! Awkward city intersections.

Casper was just a stopover. We drove downtown And found a phenomenal little bookstore that was still open when everything else was closed! The owner was a delight, and we had a pleasant little chat. Lovely. Booked!

Casper has just about everything any major city has but without the hustle and bustle. No real traffic issues, didn't see one transient, nor any graffiti.

We didn't get to see much of Casper during our unexpected stay but everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

They need to finish the construction of I-25 through Casper. It's been horrible for years. I never see any progress and I never see anyone working on it. What gives Wyoming?

Fairly big city for the rural state. Heavy highway construction at this time makes access a little tricky.
"Exceeded expectations. I stayed at property for nearly a month while my new home was being finished. The free breakfast was much appreciated. The cleanliness was welcome after a day at work. Definitely recommend!"
"The place is being painted. Starting to look really good. Parking lot could use paving as it is a dirt lot. Overall its a nice place. Will definitely come back."
"Super nice! Overwhelmingly friendly staff. Even the maintenance guy complimented my hat and held the door for me and my dog. Clean. Tidy. Quiet. Not at all fancy, but highly adequate. We felt safe in the neighborhood and walked all the way up the hill to the Ford center. Unfortunately there’s no restaurants nearby. Otherwise the place is great."
"Our stay was wonderful. The lead woman in the kitchen, was nice the first two days and rude the last 4 days. Made things awkward. But the room was great, location was good, and overall perfect for our family!"
