Lovely. Both the town (city?) and the surrounding area: green hills framing a delightful bay with beautiful sea views.

It is a low key destination. As such, some restaurants close around 7. Thr Main St has quaint shops and the town has many eating options. Miramar, Sam's and Mezza Luna are must dines.

Shops and places to eat on the harbor walking distance. If you chose to drive there are a few options close by. Chose to go to San Francisco you only 25 min away. San Jose about 35ish. Also the drive to either is beautiful scenery.

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is a great value located in the center of Union Square. Very good service checking-in. It's an old San Francisco hotel remodeled with small rooms. It was quiet on the 7th floor."
"Always love to stay at this hotel whenever I’m in SF! Very close to so many things and it is also a very quiet area. Will always recommend this location "
"Property was great for what the cost was. Team was friendly.
Location is great, its only a block away from Tenderloin where we try to avoid at night. "
"I was visiting SF for a 2nd time and booked the same hotel, Hotel Caza, for numerous reasons from my last visit; great location, friendly service, comfortable & clean rooms. and great facilities (including things like milk and cookies you can pickup every evening beside reception)
Again, the staff were always friendly, greeting me whenever I went out or came back in past reception. I asked for and was promptly delivered a mini fridge, whilst a small suppliment fot the week, pretty much a necessity based on the large portion sizes everywhere you eat.
Ii used the pool facilities once during my stay, towels provided beside the pool and the loungers were all comfortable. My only "gripe" (and it's really nit picking) is the pool area can be quite windy at times.
All in all I great stay and if/when I come back to SF I'll be sure to look to stay again at the hotel Caza.
