Pedal along scenic lakeside paths, stopping to admire the State Capitol's gleaming dome. Tour Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, then sample award-winning cheeses and craft beers at local markets.
It was next to State Street, the Square and walkable to campus. We were out late and felt comfortable walking. There is Farmer's Market there, tons of restaurants, the museums, and theater. I think it's a terrific, walkable location for Madison.

Madison was amazing! We used the bike share every day and it was simple and convenient to use. I've never heard a complaint about the city and I see why! Lots of things to see and do plus it's beautiful.

So many great places to eat and shop. Lots of cultural and athletic options and many free places to spend the day. The museum of contemporary art and the Henry Vilas zoo were so much fun and free!

"All is calm" play at the Overture was wonderful. Loved the holiday festivities on State Street, lunch at Dhaba Indian Bistro (excellent) and dinner at the nearby Great Dane Pub. Fun get away!

I lived here for nine years. Trips back are always special, especially with a daughter in college here. The lakes are beautiful, and the downtown area is the perfect place to wander.

The free Chazen Art Gallery has a lovely collection of art. Reserve spots in advance for the Epic Systems Headquarters tour in nearby Verona. Many good restaurants on Willy Street.

Madison is a great city - lots going on and lots of great places to eat & drink! The Saturday Farmers Market is the best in the country!
"Excellent, looked new, spotless, really impressed by that, rates were very affordable compared to everywhere else. Food options were easily accessed for a quick meal. Road entry point was a little awkward, however the exit allows easy access to fast food, very easy to cross hwy 151 also.
This was an overnight business stay for me, worked perfect."
"It’s a great location and honestly the breakfast is better than most that offer free breakfast! Have stayed here numerous times and will be back again in 3 weeks!"
"I have been to a lot of hotels that have breakfast included. This hotel has one of the best! A lot of choices, and really good coffee. Dedicated staff for the breakfast area. They were very diligent in keeping food and beverages fresh and available, and keeping the area clean.
Impressive!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The room was spacious and clean, the free breakfast was very good and the location was great for touring Madison and UW on foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Matteo at the front desk."
