It seems small, but walk the streets, on both sides of the inlet, you ll really experience the charm. And the Fort is a must.

La cuidad está en un proceso de mantención/recuperación por lo que de día no se ve tan bonita. Sin embargo, se han encargado que de noche se vea espectacular. Mucha vida nocturna y la decoración de luces que tienen es muy buena.

Restaurants in Willemstad offer good food if one researches ahead of time to pick the right places. However, the good places are all expensive. Expect to pay $35 - $55 per person for dinner, without alcohol.

As you leave the downtown area you can find a lot of trash along the roads. I was also disappointed at how many beaches were closed to visitors. My main reason for visiting is snorkeling.

The best beaches are on the Westpunt side. If you stay there get a place with a kitchen and go shopping in town as choices are very very limited in Westpunt ( One mini market )
