The town is pretty small, and there are a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars in one area. Donegal castle is a short walk away and worth a visit. But the real highlight of the area is the beauty of County Donegal as you go toward the coast.

Donegal is a lovely county, lots of nice places to visit. You do need a car if you plan to go out and about. Have visited Donegal town quite a lot over the years and have not been disappointed. Have been there in all seasons and always amazing.

Donegal is an amazing area that has everything we were looking for. Really liked the area.
"The hotel has great food and all the staff are friendly and helpful. A few minor details / repairs required here and there. Wiuld highly recommend staying here if want to be close to Donegal town or as a base to explore from."
"Front desk upgraded us to bay rooms which was nice. My sons enjoyed using the pool after a long car ride. Location is excellent right in center of town. "
"Love this hotel in the heart of Donegal. What a cool little town. So close to everything. 3 carparks in the area, and so many little shops, pubs and restaurants. The hotel was great, room was fine in size for the night we stayed and amenities were fine."
"The property was gorgeous, the thermal suites and food were excellent, but the staff made it the amazing stay it was. It doesn't hurt that we got engaged during our stay! "
"This is an amazing place to stay. The first tier rooms are like suites in other hotels, in fact, they surpass them. Food is fantastic, especially the breakfast - fantastic choice. Beautiful venue with lovely walks. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Very comfortable. Several lovely lounges to relax in. Cookery demo with Peter was incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough! "
"What a charming hotel! The room was just right. Our favorite part was the lovely breakfast. The whole experience made us feel like we were unplugging from our busy lives. Can’t beat the location! "
