"Everything about this place is great; but the staff make it exceptional! I was visiting with my senior dog and they made us feel right at home. The parking is easy, there is a great restaurant on site, the grounds are beautiful, and it's very close to Haro. Everything in the villa was thought-out and there is plenty of space, inside and outside. Wifi was good and each room has A/C. The only thing I would suggest is to add a coffee maker(Nespresso or similar) in the room. I will definitely...

"This hotel was an amazing find in the Rioja region. Lovingly renovated by the owners, the property offered a tour, a video of the renovation work showing before and after, a wine tasting in the cellar and an amazing dinner option on the outside terrace. Five star service all the way. We hope to return again in the future."

"Bien que j'aie eu une très bonne impression à mon arrivée, j'ai dû signalé quelques problèmes auxquels je n'ai pas eu de réponse pendant le séjour : la connexion Wi-Fi ne fonctionnait pas. La porte du lave-vaisselle était tachée. Le canapé n'était pas très propre (cheveux et autres), et l'étendoir est très rouillé et cassé par endroits. "Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."

"An incrddible beautiful old building with great history. However it is tired and very dated, tables in lounge frayed, paint coming off bedroom doors etc. It needs refurb, The dining area is hidden behind large meter+ square plant pots, not very romantic in such a building. Dining service was aweful but food good. The receptionist guy was incredibly helpful and even went out on the street to find parking for us. We have stayed there before but will not be back …"
