"We really enjoyed our time here! Rooms were nice, loved the balcony/porches, beautiful view of the water, chairs available on the beach, nice bar/restaurant!! I would say not much is walkable, maybe a couple restaurants and water taxi dock are walkable, other restaurants, beaches, etc require transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!"

The rooms are of fine size but lack any amenities. There is no fridge, no coffee, no ironing board, no iron, no microwave. The WiFi has a bizarrely difficult password. There was no fitted sheet, just a flat sheet draped over the mattress with a very thin microfiber blanket. No extra blankets. No one to...

"The villa was very spacious, the area around it was nice and overall it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff wasn’t the most talkative of friendly but it wasn’t terrible. Communication was bad though, we didn’t know they could have the fridge stocked prior to our arrival and they never mentioned, we learned of this later reading guests reviews. "The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre...
