It wasn't until our last day that we discovered how to turn the fan off. The switch was in a cupboard in the kitchen. A switch in the bathroom would have been helpful. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free!
