"Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and parking was in a secure underground parking area. The restaurant is nice but I would recommend going out - there are better choices in town. The pool, hot tub, steam room and dry sauna are great! Clean and functioning. My girlfriend got a spa treatment. She could not have been more pleased. Her massage therapist was engaging and did a wonderful job. She called it a real value. The room was very nice. Big bed and amazing view. And the pièce de résistance was a strong flowing, clean shower. I’m really glad we picked this hotel for our stay in Lamego."
