"Very welcoming! Great charming property. Fantastic restaurant. Amazing breakfast! Delicious local fruits like ananas, sweet passion fruit, pomegranate, kiwi, cantaloupe and the best croissant I have ever had! The mill is really beautiful. Very clean room with a great smell and flowers. I would stay here again. "

"Belle vue depuis le balcon. Personnel très agréable, réactif et à l’écoute. Nous avons eu une panne de la clim mais tout a été mis en œuvre pour solutionner cela rapidement. La cuisine est bien équipée. L’établissement est un peu vieillissant mais offre de belles prestations (restaurants et bar). La literie mérite d’être changée. La salle de bain mériterait d’être refaite. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour sur place. "

"The hotel is small, relatively new and built around a pleasant patio and small pool. Our balcony overlooked these. The hotel is about 2km from the closest beach and good restaurants so a car, while not essential, makes the trips more manageable."

"Great villa, private with hedge rows and a gate (locks and you have the key). Private parking for villa with a private gated entrance. The only downside is WiFi is slower than 3G through a phone hotspot anywhere around the villa. Being from the USA I watch TV on a computer through apps, WiFi cannot sustain streaming at all."

"Overall average experience. Gave me a room at the fifth floor with a nice side sea view. Room itself was quite basic and bit outdated, just like the complete hotel complex. Small pool, nice bar called "Pelikan" on site. Breakfast was sufficient and featured fresh fruits, custommade omelette and some tasty espresso shots. Staff was friendly. If the price was lower OR the hotel in a better condition, this would be a valuable option.
BTW: Yes, there are a few cockroaches on site (but not in the...

"The hotel provides remarkable level of personal service that vastly enhanced our visit to Guadeloupe. The rooms and public areas are kept impeccably clean. Breakfasts are delicious and a delight to eat on the poolside patio."

"Maison Victoire is one of the most charming hotels I have ever seen. The attention to detail in the decor, the attentiveness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast all contribute to making this the best choice in Pointe a Pietre. Lucille could not have been more helpful. With an engaging presence and a quick smile and laugh, not to mention excellent English, she is a perfect person for her job. Additionally Lydie was also immensely helpful. We appreciated her kind spirit and efforts to...

"They kindly upgraded our room to a spacious one with a private pool. It also had a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge. The setting was beautiful and the location was very close to the airport.

"The room was nice and spacious and the view was beautiful, though it was annoying having to insert the room card into the slot to get power. And the closet and shower were a little annoying. Patio kitchen was something new and "different". Activating the WiFi was really tricky. Staff was helpful and some spoke English, but check in process was so slow and the paperwork was only in French. Lots of restaurants in the area, but they don't open 'til mid-day, but there's a small store. Beaches, bus stop and hiking nearby.
However, I deducted one star as we had roaches in our room on two different nights and toiletries were limited and we also had no water on our last morning. And I think the breakfast should cost half of what they're charging.
The automated e-mail requesting additional payment or you'll lose your reservation gave me a real scare. I thought it was a phishing scam and almost canceled my cards and my entire trip. It would have been nice for Expedia to state that this fee is already included in the payment and to ignore the automated e-mail.
But my biggest complaint is that while the property IS operated by Karaibes Hotel, it is actually called "Residence les Yuccas", NOT "Karaibes Residences". "Karaibes Residences" are a private apartment complex completely separate from the hotel. This information was not clearly communicated to us, and we must've spent well over an hour trying to get into every building in the area, before a maid finally told us where to go. "
"Lovely reception area. The staff a wonderful and accommodating including the housekeepers. My daughter loved the kids club. Lots of activities and lively staff."
