"We ended up not staying because after i booked they listed all the fees. You have to check in by 8 pm but is listed as 2:30am and there is a $20 per person per day fee to use the pool. And you have to give a 48 hr notice to even use the pool and i booked last minute so that would have been a waste too. To use the hot tub its $100 extra but that is the only thing listed before you book. It would not have been worth the 3.5 hr drive we were going to make. "

"Everything was really nice. The staff was very responsive. I am disturbed that telephones are in the room but are not connected, and in my case, don't even have a connection in the room at all. I enjoyed breakfast, and the lady who prepared it was really nice, but would love to have had regular eggs (not fried hard) or even hard boiled ones (I don't prefer scrambled lol)."

"We booked after a terrible experience at another hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly and welcoming environment. Upon arrival we instantly took notice of how good it smelled in the hotel. The staff member I believe was named Jen and was very cheerful and fun to chat with while checking in. "This property had no elevator. I was able to get a room on the first floor though. It is in dire need of updating/repair. I feel it was clean though and the beds were comfortable. "

"The guy checking in was nice and helpful. The room was not clean, had numerous dead bugs and live bugs. The door did not seal completely so I assume that is how the bugs get in. For $200 for our one night stay, I was hopeful for a cleaner room with no bugs. I feel like they sprayed for bugs, but did not go back to clean up afterwards. However, the beds were clean and really comfortable. So were the pillows! "

"Scottish Inns Collinsville is easy to get to, has straight-forward parking, comfortable queen beds, and heating-cooling units that look worn out but functioned fine inside the 2 rooms we rented. Room access cards did not work properly, required multiple trips to the front office, causing the poor lady in charge to jump through hoops replacing key cards and batteries in the card-programming machine multiple times. Bathroom shower and sink faucets put out spraying water as opposed to running...

"Staff was super nice but that was about the only good thing. Lightbulbs were missing, our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes, the door had a gap at the bottom you could see through, towels were dirty, bathroom was terrible. It was just not a good place to stay but options are limited during race weekends."
