"A large modern hotel on the East side of the village with a lovely harbor view, nice outdoor pool ( chilly in early April) and indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is great. Ask for a sea view room. There are several inexpensive decent restaurants just down the street from the Hotel the Vila Velha being the best (more expensive). Walk out on the undeveloped rocky point to big cliffs overlooking the sea and have a picnic. "

"Moinho Calmo was the highlight of my stay! I had mistakenly booked it for the wrong day, contacted them, and they kindly changed my date. I love the uniqueness of the property and will always remember this place. When can you sleep in a windmill? It was so perfect. Bathroom was amzing, decor spot on, bedroom upstairs incredible. "Stayed two nights (Fri-Sun) in August for 1,000 Euro. Breakfast was included, but left so early Sunday we only had one morning of breakfast. Breakfast options were amazing. There was abundance of everything. Evrerything else on property was super pricey $$$$. Mundi restaurant buffet was 42 Euro per person. Fri meals was a tex-mex type display. "Lovely resort with amazing staff! All so warm and friendly. The facilities are fantastic also! We stayed in a 3 bed villa which was beautiful and clean, the cleaning in particular was a high standard, cleaners were in everyday and the villa was always spotless. "This property overlooks a quiet beach. A short, 300 metre walk down the hill provides with a golden, sandy extensive beach where you can walk in either direction.
