"The room was very clean and comfortable in the bathroom was too. It was also large the TV worked. There’s a refrigerator and I believe there’s a microwave although I didn’t use it. The grounds are pretty with a lovely sitting area in the shade of some trees. The hotel staff were awesome. Very eager to make our stay happy and comfortable. Offered us water and fruit to take on our trip with us. The breakfast was fantastic. So much fruit and berries and everything fresh and organic. It is a motel and it looks like a motel. But considering that it is a motel it was absolutely fantastic. "

"This is an old Holiday Inn that the new owners came and made all modern and fancy, including adding a couple of our calories downstairs. Ample parking, although it was full towards the end of the night. Safe location. They did a really good job revitalizing in this place. "

"When first approaching the property my initial thought was “ oh boy, I paid a lot for this!” The outside appeared small and old but everything else about it was great. Clean, very friendly front desk people, quiet, comfortable. The room was updated and had great water pressure in the shower, spacious room and very comfortable beds. ( I also realized that if I had looked at all the pictures on the page I would have seen exactly what I was purchasing. I had a mental image of a HJ being a large high rise kind of hotel. Also, while I feel I paid a lot for one room, it was also the least expensive in the area.)"

"This is an old-fashioned motel with some limitations — no elevator, small bathrooms, etc. But it is the cleanest place I have ever stayed, has been updated over time, has comfortable beds, offers a good breakfast, and enjoys a nice location next to a stream with outdoor seating. The only real drawback to our stay was an overly noisy air conditioner."
