Centro Florianópolis blends colonial charm with bustling market energy. Cobblestone streets lead to the pink-domed Metropolitan Cathedral and the iconic 1898 Public Market where vendors sell fresh oysters and local crafts. Portuguese-era buildings create the perfect backdrop for exploring this historic district. The area's Azorean influence shines through in seafood pastries and traditional lace work. Dining options range from affordable market stalls to mid-range restaurants serving authentic island cuisine. Most accommodation feature converted colonial buildings with traditional décor and personalised service. Getting around is easy with the main bus terminal, abundant taxis, and ferry connections to mainland Brazil all within walking distance.
Campeche
Campeche's golden sands and consistent surf breaks create a beach paradise with authentic Brazilian charm. The pristine coastline stretches alongside traditional fishing villages where colourful boats dot the shore. Nearby Campeche Island offers boat tours to explore untouched nature and archaeological sites, while sandy trails wind through native dunes for perfect sunset strolls. Local restaurants serve fresh-caught seafood and açaí bowls at prices lower than northern beaches. Charming pousadas and holiday rentals offer budget-friendly stays with personal hospitality. Getting around requires rental cars or patience with limited bus service, but the beachfront area remains wonderfully walkable.

"Great stay. The staff is very friendly. Just across the street from the hotel there is a commercial space with several restaurants, coffee shop a supermarket. "
"The front desk agents and the morning breakfast employees were just WONDERFUL !!!!
The property was having trouble with getting hot water in the showers ..."
Comida y bebida no decepciono.
"Excellent location, across the street from a nice shopping mall and walkable distance from downtown and many dining options. Easy location for ride-pick-up. Friendly staff and outstanding breakfast buffet. Room was a bit small but overall clean and comfortable. "
"Great location, great views, short walk to shopping and restaurants, safe, clean, great shower water pressure and good breakfast.
The rooms are a little aged. "
