Hotel Concorde Bariloche is an aging hotel that begs for modernization. The room fee would be half in the US for its condition. The staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms were kept quite clean. No air conditioning, however, just an open window with no screen or security. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from civic square and 'chocolate alley', and hotel customer parking is excellent. Alas, the city, like the hotel, has lost the tourism hospitality that I observed when visiting 28 years ago.
