We liked the location, the private double room had everything you needed, air con, fridge, hairdryer, hangers. It was good value for money.
However, the WiFi was patchy, guests were disrespectful of the “quiet hours” and were loud through the night in their rooms, rather than using the common area. The property could do with some deep cleaning, but besides that it was good.

It's quite ok-ish for a hostel stay. The room is small but has everything described, and the toilet is also small but clean. Nothing to complain about for less than US$14 a night. The location is in the old town of Taipei so it's narrower roads and with a lot of travel signs in the district. This hostel is within walking distance of Taipei main station (if you are not detoured---walk to the west, to the Airport metro platforms, you are almost there), and it's so close to the old Roundabout, Ningxia Night Market, Dadouchen, and the Love Temple. It's a great hub for exploring old town Taipei.
