Scary!!!

Good: only comfortable bed, good air conditioner badddddd: 1) check in early is impossible. we arrived at 930am. the doorman can not do anything. we waited until 1015am. the person in charge was still not at there. 2) check out time at 10am, then, we were ready to check out at 10am. no people at there. we waited until 1030am. no persons is there too. then, we leave our luggages at there and leave the keys to the cleaner and leave. MAIN POINT: WE FORGOT TO BRING THE CREDIT CARD, AND WENT BACK. UNFORTUNTLY, NO ONE CAN OPEN THE DOOR AT 1100am. we did call all the telephone no., but all of them didnt work. What we can do is asking the staff who worked opposite hotel. he called all of them at 1130am. WHAT?! ALL OF THEM DIDNT WORK. "THE RIGHT NO., BUT, DIDNT IN LINE" (I think it means they didnt open the mobile). p.s. i dont think the telephone at the other hotel is not working.

Great location for us - a couple of minutes walk to several eating places, small corner shop type mini-market and Piazza Barberini which has a metro stop and e-scooter/bike park; 8-10 minutes to Spanish steps and Trevi fountain, 12-15 minutes to the main station, 15 or so to Pathenon and 20 to Piazza Navona and the Colesseum. Some of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in. En-suite and TV in the room, plenty of hot water with good water pressure! Everything that we needed - towels/soap/shower gel/loo roll, full window blinds, TV and a safe in the room, plenty of plug sockets, individual room air conditioning. Small entrance / reception area with a sofa and access to a small kitchenette - not to cook / self-catering, but access to fridge, microwave, facilities to make coffee etc - plenty for us to sort out fruit and coffee for breakfast! Quiet location - set back off a side street, with a secure entrance, in a block with apartments and some businesses (dentist etc) on the ground floor. We heard some footsteps from neighbours, occasional siren and some rumbling (?underground or lift) but nothing that disturbed us. Comfortable beds and a good night's sleep. We were a little confused as we thought we had booked a hotel with 24 hour front desk etc, but it was more of rooms in a small B&B / guest house type set up - but we need not have worried! Excellent host and happy to help to give advice, arrange late check in (small fee), airport transfer etc. The entrance was locked ouaila

A Star Inn gets 2 Stars

With this hotel, you must coordinate your arrival with the folks running it. Even though we did coordinate, we and another couple wound up waiting on the steps almost 45 minutes for Bruno to arrive to check us in. Even then, the "check-in" process took another 15-20 minutes, all the while my 4 year old needed to go to the bathroom. The room is small but relatively clean. Our room backed up to the communal space and every time someone comes in/out, the automatic lights come on and shone underneath our door in the middle of the night. The hotel is within walking distance to several main sites in the city which was one of the only benefits. Additionally, they will coordinate a taxi to/from the airport; just be aware it's double what the street taxis charge. Personally, we won't be returning.

War im Centrum von Rom, war sauber und freundliche personal. Leider waren sie im Gebäude am umbauen , das heisst der Lärm war gross, bohrmaschime lief scho um 8:00 uhr. Ansonsten super gutes hotel.

Trying to stay positive

The Hotel was amazing and the staff very accommodating. Just a couple of gripes . They forgot to give me the code for the gate, and there were work men drilling holes next door. Apart from that I enjoyed waking up to the sound of a hammer drill, and enjoyed talking to strangers at 3 am in the morning when I had to miss a nights sleep because I couldn’t get into the hotel.

Excellent séjour dans centre de Rome

Tres bon accueil. On se sent comme à la maison. Vraiment d’une grande propreté. Aussi bien pou le ménage que le linge. Placé à côté du metro barberini donc facilement accessible. Sécurisé ! Aucun bruit ! Important dans Rome ! Je recommande.

This was a guest house that was very clean with beautiful and clean rooms, daily housekeeping and safe place with secured entrance. The staff Bruno and Hillary welcomed us at the check in and provided helpful information. My husband and I enjoyed the short walking distance to many restaurants, Gelato stands and shopping areas as well as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Parthenon, Museums, churches, the River and many other site seeing areas. We took uber to Colosseum and Vatican City. Over all a great stay and we recommend this place especially for the location and price.
