It was a shame that the hotel used fake pictures of the gym. The photos on the website and online are AI generated and do not reflect the real gym, which has only one machine. I had to find another gym 10 miles away, pay €50 for the week, and drive 30 minutes each way. I booked this hotel specifically for the gym and the sauna, but the sauna was broken for the first three days. The jacuzzi was full of kids jumping and screaming, as was the pool.
The hotel is far from the beach, so it does not matter if you get a partial or full beach view, it will not be worth the extra money. Overall, the hotel feels like three stars. It is very family friendly, but as a solo traveler, it was full of kids everywhere, screaming and just being kids, which is not what I wanted on my vacation.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, and one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. I would give most of the employees five stars for their politeness and professionalism. I have never been treated so well by hotel staff, especially at the front desk. This was the main reason I did not try to leave and request a refund, despite the gym and sauna being unusable.
I will not return due to these problems. One big tip for hotels that want to be five stars is to invest in the gym with basic but good quality equipment. Not everyone who goes on vacation wants to sit by the pool drinking and eating pizza all
