A very interesting city with many day trips available to see the surrounding sites, though the traffic and road conditions make for long travel times. The gondolas across the city are a must-do!

Take the teleferico on your own. It's really cheap and shows you all of la Paz and el alto

La Paz is a fascinating town. Its vertical topography is unlike any other gestation outside of ski towns. The cable cars, telefericos, are really unique, and you need to use them to see and explore the city.

LaPaz is a city of hills and not ADA compliant - but more interesting than vast majority of cities.

"This hotel is absolutely incredible. I was traveling alone on a national holiday with limited transportation. The concierge went above and beyond in securing transportation for my requests and was very responsive when I was having trouble on the road. Felt very safe in their care. Fantastic hospitality!!!"
"This property is right by the cable car line. Easy access to main square. Hotel staff is amazing, there are few flaws of the hotel but staff are positive and friendly to accommodate guests request. Marcelo at the front desk is amazing. "
"We loved our stay at Atix! The staff was so helpful and nice, our room was comfortable and quiet. All the art in the building is so unique and it gave the hotel a great personality. We also absolutely loved the indoor pool and sauna. We watched the most beautiful sunset overlooking the city and Mountain View from the pool while eating empanadas from the pool area. Incredible stay. Definitely recommend!!"
"The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The view was amazing from my room and especially from the restaurant. Food and restaurant service was great."
"The manager Gabriel was very warm and welcoming but sadly our room lacked warmth and we had to request a second towel and toiletries.
It was also very noisy with other guests and non-sound proof rooms. "
"The most flexible hotel I have stayed at! When we had a delayed bus and needed to change our booking at short notice, the hotel obliged and gave us a room immediately without making us pay for the room we no longer needed on a different date. I am very happy at how flexible and obliging they were. We stayed in a suite and it was a huge room with everything that you needed. The gas heater kept it very warm too. "
