The Beaufort is a lovely and unique property that has just been updated. The staff was so friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations on sights and restaurants. We would defiantly go back if we are in Inverness.

Having a restaurant and bar on site was very helpful when getting in late. Staff was very helpful and fun (Jonathan and Isley). Good selection of whiskey and our room was very fancy. No mini-fridge and the most expensive place we stayed on our trip but it was great and we'd go back. Free parking is a bonus.

We did buy the $17 pound breakfast both days...again just ok...part self serve that doesn't bother me, the 1st morning the young lady was very good and friendly,but the next morning the young women not so much. Outside area alot of the seating was broken down. My complaint was the cleanliness of the room was not good with hair-bunnies in the corners and "stuff" on the floor...even after I told them.A bit was vacuumed but not wellfor the next day .Old sheets were left outside our door until I complained.The sink faucet in the bedroom was not attached well and was notfixed even though I told them.I wish they would of been compt at least for breakfast.Maybe you could do that for us?of should I?I felt uncomfortable staying at this hotel.Ican't blame the staff, but do fault the owners.I feel taken advantage of.

It is a good 3rd or 4th choice hotel if the recommended ones are full. The parking is a plus and the location of the hotel is good. it's clean. But the hotel itself is noisy (not great insulation, by the road, and old building). While no one is bad, the service level is not high (they vacuum the entrance and reception area at 9am when everyone is still having breakfast right by the reception). At arrival at 7pm, we were greeted without any enthusiasm (borderline impolite) by someone obviously coming straight from the kitchen and not happy to be doing the receptionist work. Breakfast is not wow.
