On the street parking was free at night but the hotel has a few spots for 10euro a day. Building is older but room was large, very clean. Front desk staff was there until about 1130pm which was a godsend. They needed passport #s for all guests, which was a little strange. Had breakfast available for a fee but we didn’t partake.

The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

It was good enough for a one night stay, team station was close by, the Sqaure was a ten min walk so plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, however the light in the bathroom didn’t work, one of the bed lights didn’t work. The bed was comfortable however the wooden bit on the bed was a pain.

Arrived mid summer, attic apartment was 30-35C, place is without air conditioning, really neither pleasant nor safe - we had to leave after a near sleepless night. Did not get a refund for breakfast we paid in site (another 300 Euro down the tubes, which I really thought showed how little they cared). Please also looks nothing like the picture, it was dirty and one room key for a place that sleeps 5? 0/10 recommend.

My trip to the hotel will not be a waste of time and effort only if the hotel informs me that the hotel has changed my 2 night reservation to another Astoria. It wasn't far but we got lost because the directions weren't clear and it's our first time in Stuttgart. And with all our luggage and walking around in the heat of the sun, we felt stressed and down.
