Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island, my family only stayed one night but it was enough to fully enjoy the traditional japanese style of living; The futon beds were very great!!! And the traditional dinner and breakfast provided was a unique experience for us all, we loved it!

This hotel was as advertised: at a distance from the ferry, secluded from the tourist sites, and an authentic Japanese experience re: meals, onsen, and sleeping setup. The facilities are somewhat dated, but the onsen was great and tolerant of tatoos. The food was plentiful and the on-site store had a lot of souvenirs at the same price as elsewhere on Miyajima. It was definitely the least comfortable night we had in our three weeks, however. Having access to the anticipated dinner and breakfast menu during booking would also help manage expectations.

The service at Miyajima Seaside Hotel was the best we have ever experienced! We stayed in a traditional tatami room. Dinner and breakfast was included. Our beds were set up while we were at dinner. Stayed overnight whilst on Miyajima and had the Kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast included. The room was a traditional Japanese style with the futon beds made up for you after having dinner in your room. We had an ocean view room with large windows allowing you to enjoy the view. The staff were superb, friendly and very attentive. The dinner was beautiful and delicious, we were lucky to visit during oyster season, the deep fried oysters were particularly nice. A very handy shuttle bus is provided to and from the ferry terminal.
