The lodge was in a good location, but the fire alarm went off after midnight. There were no staff on site and it was over an hour before the staff were even awake/aware. Overall it was after 3am that we were back inside.
It did make it a rough start to our backpacking trip the bext morning.

It was as a great place for an overnight. Lovely places to relax and enjoy the river without camping. It’s an isolated location, be flexible.

My husband and I were out “glamping”. The accommodations were really nice for our needs. Comfy and clean. The lounge chairs near the river were relaxing and charming.

This is a National Park Lodge. It is very basic but the location is perfect if you wish to enjoy the park and get an early start on some hiking.
The room was basic but nice and clean, staff was friendly and food was decent.

Comfy and perfectly located NPS lodge
Yes, it’s dated, but the location could not be beat and the comfortable bed was most welcome at the end of a long day. There was unexpectedly both WiFi and AC (which was particularly welcome on a very hot day), and the market opened at 7, allowing my very well-rested self to grab a quick breakfast before checking out and hitting the trail early that morning. Would 100% stay here again.
