Nice place to stay. I was lucky that there weren’t many guests during my visit, so I often had the pool to myself, which was really relaxing. I think I may have been there during the off-season, which likely contributed to how quiet and peaceful the property felt.
The staff were very nice and attentive throughout my stay.
The property is a bit secluded and away from everything, and drivers sometimes had difficulty finding the location. However, there is a supermarket and a nice local warung about 10–15 minutes away, which is convenient. As it is quite remote, I wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night since there is no lighting. It’s also around 30 minutes (without traffic) to Uluwatu Temple and the Monkey area.
If you’re looking for a few days of peace, quiet, and pool time, and don’t mind ordering food or taking short trips for restaurants, it can work well.
On the downside, my room door was broken and difficult to lock, and the shower wasn’t in great condition. The bed was comfortable, but the linen wasn’t very clean, and the bed frame also seemed a bit worn and not well maintained. And you are in nature.
Overall, it is a beautiful place with a peaceful setting, but maintenance could be improved.
