Hi I would like a refund as we couldn't get into the property and rang n no answer had to find another hotel ruined our weekend

When I got there I looked at the property and was horrified there was just piles of rubbish bags outside the cellar room window I looked up and most of the rooms I saw there were actually no curtains or they were hanging down. It looked like it hadn't been used for yrs. On the door of the property there was a phone number on the front door and I was about to ring a girl come from a property a few doors down she said are you booking in and I said yes and thank God for that she said I was going in the property across the road which I have previously been in it was a bit intimidating people stood above and hanging around the front door area but me and my partner went in and we're giving our room on the top floor at the front after putting our bags away and I decided to go to the shop when I come out the hotel there was a few lads hanging around the door again as usual the street and turn towards the shop a lad came up beside me on a push bike and ask me where I was going I said to the short one and he proceeded to ask me if I wanted to buy an room I said no I don't get through times and I told him no he wrote up on his bike when I got back from the shopping list and next door from steps with a few of the people from that I noticed that stuff and then were very friendly

The room was in a terrible state. Poorly decorated. The windows were filthy dont think they have been cleaned for years. There was nothing to stir my tea with. I had to put the kettle on the floor to boil it. The bed covers were covered in paint do was the floor. The walls were dirty and needed paimting. The window wouldnt open until the man hammered it to open it. It was a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. The bunk beds were right next to a radiotor that was very unsafe cos a child could have easily burnt themselves in there sleep if it had of been on. The bathroom was a shared one had no soap in the dispenser which is disgusting in a big hotel. It also had no hand drying machines which is also disgusting. We used the bathroom this morning before we left and there was no toilet paper. How disgusting is that in a hotel. Thats very poor my boyfriend and myself definately wont go anywhere that hotel and i would tell friends the same. The only person we saw once we went into the room was the husband who was running round like and idiot. I asked about connecting my phone to the hotels Wifi and the lady Sharron relied we have only just opened so we havent got it sorted yet. Thats another laugh. That hotel is a definate No No in my eyes. All that you could smell all night was weed that people were smoking outside. When i turned on the hot water tap in the room the tap did work so we had no hot water . Also the bathroom was filthy with dust everywhere.

Building Is old, drawer were very dirty toilets dirty bad small, bed with springs broken and very uncomfortable.

It was mouldy all around the windows and in the shower room and the bed sheets were dirty they're covered with dirty all the quilt covers were dirty the mattress was all dirty yellow when they should have been white mattresses the cupboard door was hanging off and there was a hole in this ceiling
