The best option if you’re traveling to Jarabacoa. Claudio, the property manager is the most amazing person you will ever meet. He will go about and beyond for anything you need. The property was super clean, extremely peaceful and beautiful. Wow will definitely be back with the whole family. Claudio made our experience much better. They do let you know that a 4x4 vehicle is needed so keep that in mind. Other than that this is the best place to stay.

The views and the room were a 10 out of 10. The owner and manager were friendly and tried to make our visit enjoyable. However, there were numerous issues with the resort. Firstly, you need a 4 wheel drive to reach the resort. We had to park our car at the bottom of the hill at the side of the road. The owner had to come get us and bring us to the resort. Each unit has a small hot tub we were excited to use but the water was cold and unusable since they are on solar. The main pool and hot tub were green and unkept. There are dogs on sight and although they are cute they sat outside our room (as we were the only guests) at night barking and fighting. It took several calls, texts and hours for them to take the dogs away. I think this place has a lot of potential but for the price it was a disappointment. We only stayed one of two nights since the rains were making the road to the resort impassable and we worried we would be stuck in the muddy lane. We asked the owner for a refund for the second night and he did not respond. Expedia however sided with us stating the resort description was lacking important information. If you want to stay in a geodesic dome choose The Domes. It is pricier but is well kept, has a restaurant and all amenities work as stated. They are also located just outside of Jaracaboa, so close to many attractions.
