Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.

The Inn was very very wonderful! The staff and Innkeeper Chris was available if you had sny questions. They mingled with all tge guests and made you feel right at home. The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect.

This was a beautiful, clean, and fabulous B&B with a great walkable location to downtown Bar Harbor. Its gardens were an absolute feast for the eyes! Our room was lovely and private and Kris, the caretaker, was friendly and informative. The breakfasts were wonderful too. Our stay there was all too short.

We enjoyed our time here because of the gardens and front porch, the evening of live music in the garden every night. It was very close walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor… 5 min walk. Room 1 was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. The only negative would be that possibly a staff member’s living quarters were above us and heard them walking every morning at 5:30
