The room was clean but there was masking tape on the inside of the front door and some other fittings in the room were not in good order. The phone number said it was disconnected when I rang it and no one answered the given mobile number. When I arrived at the premises it looked like it was not operating. The premises were advertised as a conference centre and accomodation but it is very run down. The location is good, but the venue needs a complete restoration/overhaul and I assume the enormity of that work/cost is why the venue is in the state it is in. If you want somewhere based on location and privacy then it might be ok. The only staff I ever saw was one person when I checked in and checked out, and both times I had to ring the bell. My room was never serviced in the 6 days I was there. I really hope the owners can invest and return the property to it’s potential.
