I must commend Sama Hotel Sherif Basha in Cairo Egypt for the excellent customer service and hospitality received during our stay, we are very pleased from the friendly courteous professional customer service from especially Mahmoud General Manager , Mostafa, receptionist, Mazen, receptionist. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great downtown location, professional, friendly and superb customer service.

Very good location in the centrum. Close to very good café. Small hotel with a very nice and helpful people. Cleaning service every day. Good breakfast. Highly recommend. My next stay in Cairo will be only that hotel considering.

It's a new hotel well designed and furnished to be honest its looks like a 5 star hotels. Everything is clean and shiny .Room are clean and neat and cosy. Location are great in a mid of down town the hotel surrounded by restaurant's and cafes. Staff are very hospitable and friendly.It was a good experience 😊 highly recommended 👌

First and foremost a great stay mainly due to the staff fixing any issues at first encounter. Youstina and Mostafa especially made our stay. With their helpfulness, friendliness and even check ins through WhatsApp. They even offered to save some breakfast for us, when they noticed we hadn’t eaten it. There were some issues such as the hotels.com address leading us to the other hotel in the branch, we booked a double bed but got two single beds, lack of smaller towels after cleaning one of the days But as soon as we made them aware of these - they immediately escorted us to the right hotel, fixed the bedsituation and brought the towels. Overall a great stay and great location. And a luxurious room

So far this was the best hotel I stayed in Cairo(stayed in another 3 before that). Property is new, room was comfortable and clean. The first day the breakfast was good but second day it wasn't, as they change it every day. Internet wasn't good as it kept dropping off all the time, but it seems it's the issue in all of the hotels. Staff in reception is friendly especially Mustafa Mohamed and Mazen, they were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location.

We had a wonderful 3nites stay at the end of April 2026. The staff were attentive and kind. The location is excellent, in front of quiet alley with several cafes. The hotel entrance may be a bit off putting, but once you walk up one flight of stairs, Sama Hotel Sherif Basha lobby awaits you behind glass doors. Newly renovated one floor hotel. Be sure to select rooms with windows on the alley side or main street side. The windows are well insulated from noise. The location is only blocks from the other Sama hotel that is in the square, which is much more noisy. So many restaurants, shops and cafes to choose right in the neighborhood. Access to Egyptian museum and the Nile river is faster on foot than Uber, due to high traffic congestion. With that said, Uber is great since it is abundant and very very affordable. We love this location and the hotel is EXCELLENT. Breakfast is limited but fresh and basic. So many eateries around that we save our tummy for the street food. Can't wait to return to Cairo. I stay for three days in the sama Hotel and nothing was bad, but when I tried to extend the reservation there and I asked for the price how much should be the charge for the night they give me the price more than Expedia reservation that’s what I don’t like. I’m trying to tell them don’t take advantage from the customer and that’s not good for you guys business.
