台北馥敦 - 復南館

2nd time to stay in the hotel;1st time I stayed on 8F and this time on 4F. Room of improvement in Wi-Fi infrastructure. Internet connection was quite unstable and I was disconnected from internet around 7-8 times during my stay of 2 nights. In particular, I used my PC to reserve High Speed Railway (HSR) tickets in my room (4F) after breakfast via hotel's Wi-Fi but internet access was unavailable. Eventually, I used tethering and shared my mobile network to my PC for HSR tickets reservation.

房間比想像中大。附近都車來人往，交通吃飯購物都方便。

Likes: spacious room, comfortable bed, breakfast spread, convenient, only 4 min walk to metro, lobby has comfortable chairs for rest and coffee Dislikes: wifi reception was weak in the room, Staff attitude could be improved - I asked for directions from Taipei to Jiufen, the staff recommended booking private cab service instead..which I appreciated his advice but he did seem a little pushy and the staff was quick to dismiss our initial plan as "wasting our time" (but we really appreciated his advice ) We did not need house keeping service but requested for new towels and botled water and clearing the trash. The male staff at the front desk was a little rude when he responded "well you may as well just ask for routine room service!" I replied explaining that I just hope to reduce some workload and save some water from the cleaning... and before I could finish explaining, the staff exclaimed "dont worry they won't touch your stuff!"
