The entire family enjoyed our stay! We will be back because we had so many things we wanted to do. Checking in was a breeze and the information desk had so many thing for us to do with coupons included. The room was clean and we had a nice view of the outdoor waterpark. I was able to text whenever I needed anything and they got it done right away. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The food and drinks were a plus as well. We really didn't need to leave for anything.

The woman at the PAID breakfast buffet is RUDE! She should be cleaning rooms and FAR AWAY from direct customer service. Breakfast was a JOKE! I’ve had better food (and service) at a FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST The rooms had been “updated” but in a very poor fashion. The bathtub faucet wasn’t even caulked to the wall so when we pulled the lever to start the shower it did nothing. We had to hold the faucet in order to pull the lever. Every shower bar was crooked. It was obvious this place was updated in a cheap and quick fashion. The waterpark was a BLAST! We will definitely be back just to visit the water park. The rest of the place we could do without though.

Room was decent. Cozy and clean experience. Not a fan for the gimmicks on the come listen about time shares but overall enjoyed. Indoor waterpark was alright. If stuck inside they had almost everything you could need on site but just remember its a resort

I really liked this hotel overall. It was fairly clean, though I would recommend to anyone to wear water shoes at any water park. Hair, bandaids, and food are expected at any facility such as this. The water was cloudy at times, but I saw this mostly in the two stationary pools: the basketball pool and the hot tub. Moving water stayed pretty clear. And speaking of moving water, the shower in our room ran inconsistently. It would just cut off during a shower or not turn on at all. And during "peak" shower time (like after the water park closed) it wouldn't warm up at all. Another complaint I have that is related to capacity is the lack of elevators. One on each end of River Lodge and one in the middle. The placement is not the issue, it's the fact that there is only one and it's slow. Even many small hotels have 2 elevators side by side. We would have taken the stairs more often, but we have a very independent toddler who takes a year to go down 4 flights of stairs. Anyway, I'd still come back for sure. Just maybe during an off-season time. If those even exist with indoor water parks.

I wish there were a normal pool somewhere for people not wanting to be around the crowd the entire time and the sales people at check in were so slow, it took us almost an hour!

Our room was right next to the pool. I love that you can just send a text for any needs and to check out. The rooftop pool was amazing as well as the lazy river. We had tall ceilings in our room which made a small space seem less crowded.
