This is lovely little place. It is basic but in a beautiful old building, has everything you need, helpful staff, and a great location. The stairs are the traditional narrow, steep Amsterdam house stairs but the staff very kindly kindly helped my move my suitcase! Would stay again

This was absolutely disgusting and the state of everything was horrible. Absolute filth and just utter rubbish. DO NOT STAY HERE. I felt so gross staying here. The room was filthy, the bedding was ancient and the floors were full of hair and the walls were covered in dirt. The service was absolutely non existent. I can’t believe they are allowed to rent out their rooms, it’s unacceptable. I feel misled and extremely unhappy with the lack of cleanliness.

You get what you pay so don’t expect much. It’s an old building, not fit for people that may have difficulty going up the stairs. The stairs to the first floor are very steep and long. The rooms are small and simple, old carpets, two electricity plugs, shared bathroom and shower, no fans. Perhaps not a place for those that cannot deal with hot humid rooms in the summer. The receptionist is excellent. Very helpful. Great location. Better than staying in a shared room hostel.

First of all, like I read in other post, this hotel is very simple with dated rooms. The shower is tiny! We were comfortable. There are no amenities. We had a great view from our room. This hotel has very steep stairs, no lift. Be prepared if you have bad knees! We went during the summer, therefore we had the window open. It is loud outside, lots of talking and traffic.

Worst hotel Ive ever stay. Dirty like an Indian motel. Bed like a jail, mattres are extremely old, they wanted to charge me extra 300 Euro in addition of what was already paid in full in Cheaptikets, had to call support and cheaptixkets heped me with the issue, but condition of the hotel is extremely bad, however you are n the center of everything. Very sad this place could be a gem but they have it in really bad condition.

Was really bad, I know I booked the "cheapest option" as the staff said but as a solo traveler I thought it'll be a good option, I checked in and I just said to the guy that I can't stay here and checked out and left.
