Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good

What a fantastic stay in Plettenberg Bay area. You should have seen my wife's smile when she saw the Garden View Deluxe Suite. The room was stunning! It was quiet. Very clean. Turn down service was very nice. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections on the buffet or off the menu that was included. The staff members are truly amazing. Very helpful. We especially enjoyed talking with our waiter at dinner who interested in our travels that day. I know we convinced him to go visit Monkeyland! We enjoyed the walks along the coastline, unfortunately with the recent storm we could not go down to the beach. We look forward to a return trip here. The only issue we had was Google Maps took us to Gate B and not the Reception entrance, but we did find it. Plus that was the gate we would go in and out of for our room location.

Great location, very nice and clean property and very large unit. One big problem - we stayed in the winter, the a/c and heating is only in the living room. The bedroom is very cold and the master bathroom is freezing. Completely freezing. On top of that, the unit is very dark. Living area and kitchen have only one ceiling light with very dim light and bathroom was missing a light bulb. After asking for a heater and additional light bulb they were provided but the living area was still very dark and the bathroom didn't have a power outlet so the heater could be used only in the bedroom. Restaurant - We are vegan so we didn't eat at the restaurant because vegan options are limited to non existent. So we can't review the food but the atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing.
