Will definitely return!
The good: an older hotel that has gone through some remodels! We were in a deluxe king room and the bed was large comfortable. The room was large with a closet, shower bathroom, TV, mini fridge, large balcony with chairs to relax. The hotel was overall quiet and adults only on property which was awesome. The five separate buildings create a central large courtyard with two pools (one heated, one not) and a nice jacuzzi along with some secluded areas to read, tan and relax. The maintenance staff and the check in staff were great, friendly and informative. The location of the hotel is unbeatable for the price! The not so good: not many plugs in the rooms to plug in gadgets and phone chargers. The check out staff was very rude and unfriendly. The parking is over priced. Overall: we will definitely return! Well worth the price for size of room and the location.

We had to call someone to open our room late at night. There is no parking, we parked on the street and paid. The breakfast was okay, coffee machine broken. The room was very small, the smallest I’ve stayed in. Not worth the cost.

Don’t make a mistake staying there…
Pictures lies! Dirty, bathroom falling apart, AC didn’t cool it off but was good to make a lot of noise. Electric cables hanging connecting tv and fridge. Very old and smelly building. Breakfast with coffee machine not working… terrible place and deceiving pictures.

Very very poor staff service… the worst!
We were put in a room that wasn’t clean and nothing was functioning (AC super loud, fan not working, etc.) After a very difficult night, when I kindly asked if we could find a solution, the receptionist was - for real - the rudest and most disrespectful person I have met in a long time. Purposely ignoring us and lying to Hotels.com when they called to help solve the situation. Highly not recommend the place.

Poor excuse of a hotel
Terrible service and lack of any willingness to explain pricing amenities policy, nor willingness to adjust central AC for my room’s comfort level. Did not explain what hotel amenities charges were upon checkin. Did not ever ask how I was doing, my stay, comfort nor if I needed anything. Basically a poor excuse of a hotel that couldn’t care if I was as a customer or not. No individual room temperature control, and not informed of that during any part of checkin or reservations as I recall.

Just OK
The location of this hotel can't be beat, right off Duval street and within walking distance of everything you want to see in Key West. However, the staff weren't helpful or particularly friendly, our room was just OK, the sheets wouldn't stay on the bed and there was a stain on the side of the mattress. The toilet in the bathroom was literally so close to the sink that your knees were underneath the sink when using the toilet. There was no shelf in the shower so you had to put shampoo, etc. on the ground in the shower. The room was clean enough but the furnishings were very low quality. We stay in all kinds of hotels (inexpensive to higher end) and I would truly rate this just OK.

The pools, hot tub and facilities were clean and nice. Walking distance to everywhere. My only complaint is the staff weren't as pleasant as I thought they would be. Requested cleaning service on the second day of our stay (which is given) before 3pm because we would be back by 3 to get ready for a wedding. Returned to our room at 2:45. Housekeeping arrived at 2:55 to clean our room just as we started to get ready and shower for the wedding. Then couldn't return at 4:15 when we would leave because they were finished for the day. The next morning they couldn't offer a late checkout and actually gave me an attitude that I was even asking. Chose to just check out and have our bags held with a friend at Southernmost Resort. Do not think I'd stay there again with all the options offered in Key West with more friendly staff. The woman who checked us in our first day on Friday 11/1 was the best and only pleasant staff member.
