Dingy motel room! One of the beds was broken. The bathroom sink had missing tiles and looked to be about 80 years old. No air conditioning, no Tv, non-working refrigerator, microwave conveniently placed on ground next to the bed, and an old broken refrigerator just hanging out on the porch in front of the door. The door itself was falling apart, and had no deadbolt lock. The only thing securing the room was a poorly installed knob and a security chain that could have been easily broken off with about 15 pounds of force.
Check-in was interesting as there are no employees, signs, or directions on how to do so. I ended up wandering into the pizza place that is attached to the building where I was able to obtain a key, but not before the gentleman tried to scam me out of an additional cleaning fee of $45. I was able to show him that it was in fact paid when i booked through Expedia, but apparently some of the other guests that I spoke to were not so lucky and had to pay this additional fee.
Last but not least. The outside "courtyard area" was completely trashed from the remnants of a campsite / party. An abandoned popup camper, some bbq grills, and empty beer bottles littered the area just outside of my room.
This place felt like a flop house for hookers and junkies. 150% DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
