The Hive is a very simplistic, but very well suited for a home base. The studio design allows for comfort during a multi-day stay. The beds are very comfortable. The location is awesome with close proximity to a cool town, Cary, and the UNC, Duke & NC State campuses.

Literally like an Airbnb. Had to walk to the neighboring hotel to check in and get my room, but it was easy from there. Cute rooms, like a trendy extended stay hotel

Not sure valuation for "staff" and "amenities" are really valid, since there were no "staff" on site, and amenities were really limited.
This was a fun place to stay. Clean, comfortable bed, all the important stuff.
Did not register until we arrived that it is a suite arrangement, geared for longer stay guests (with kitchenette, utensils and such to feed one's self). We were also thrown for a loop with the virtual check-in which is accomplished on your phone, potentially hours before arrival. But, we navigated and got in okay. Enjoyed the stay.

Our room was spotless and the cutest updated decor. The bed was super comfy, and we had every amenity we needed - they even provided ear plugs in case the highway noise was too much! (It wasn’t - in fact it provided great white noise to lull us to sleep) Check in couldn’t have been easier. We loved the Hive House and will definitely stay here again.

The staff were great. He k in was hasske free and east. The de or is eclectic and winderful. The only downside is that someone staatted laundry on the 2nd day and all of the guests could smell the ounge sulfur smell. A filter needs to be added to thase lines so as not to walk into a cloud of sulfur.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. However, I’ve never stayed at a hotel with no staff before, and am not sure I would do it again.
There was no one to ask for extra coffee, etc.
The elevator did not seem to be working properly, and we took the stairs a few different times. Aside from leaving a message with a posted phone number, there was no one to tell about the elevator.

Super cute and different! I almost didn’t book only because of a couple of reviews about loud noise and/or people partying. Glad I booked anyway!!! It is close to the highway so there is road noise. But it’s not bad and not bad inside the room. And obviously the management listened to someone’s complaint about it and there’s the cutest little note at the bedside table with disposable ear plugs if needed!
Room was very clean. Great little kitchen area if you need that for your stay. Nice bathroom and shower. All clean! I have zero complaints and would definitely come back!!!
