Don’t!!! Very bad

This is a zero star hotel. They charge what a 2 star hotel charges in Miami and probably a 3 star in other Latin American countries. The room balcony door was broken, slept a little concerned since I was on the 2nd floor. The bath door has a problem and locks by itself. Doors are falling apart. Hot water lasts 3 minutes. Looks like a motel where you could spend 2-3 hours if you know what I mean. Not good. Good? The wifi, close to the beach.

Beware: Shunted over to a old place across street.

Sad to say I was misled by the reviews on Hotels.com. I made a reservation at the Ducassi Deluxe Studios, but upon arrival we were shunted across the street to the Sol Caribe Hotel. Communication was a problem so we never understood the reason. I had reserved 2 rooms for 3 people, but we were given a single suite with one bedroom and a second bed upstairs. One of three AC unit did not work and the bathroom fixtures were old, worn and sometimes broken. The recent Hotels.com reviews all look a bit phony with similar wording and rating, although they are marked verified. The location is not on the beach, despite the photo, and there was a pool but not on the roof.

The location is not the greatest, people around the area were nice and helpful it just looks very unsafe, and the room I stayed at was very dirty, had dead roaches and the fridge was leaking, so there was water all over the floor. Thank god I just stayed 1 night before checking into my resort, would not recommend anyone staying here.
