This place was a nightmare! Very dirty! We never walk in any home with our shoes on so as soon as we got into the room we took our shoes off and walked barefoot our feet turned BLACK within minutes! The bar stools were all falling apart peeling. Sofa was very old when we sat on it made you lean towards the middle & it made noise every movement! There was a horrible leak probably with mold inside that made the ceiling all crumbly looking that someone just painted over with a non-matching color! All the painting throughout the place looked as if painted by a child! The bed pillows were HARD as a ROCK! The bedroom tv had sooooo much dust behind it that when you walked by it would fall off! There is so many things wrong with this place! I took a large amount of photos to prove everything! A week after I booked the place she sent me a message stating that she had to have a cleaning fee of almost $200 I had purchased insurance for $20 in case anything happened because we travel a lot to that island for Dr appointments because we live on the big island and lots of our doctors are over there. She said that there is no refund and that we wouldn’t be able to get a penny back plus we also have to pay the cleaning she even if we weren’t coming. I told her they had changed my husband‘s doctor appointment plus which happens a lot it was for heart surgery. She still refused to give a penny back the insurance she said was no good for that! Ilikai is a great place just NOT HERS! Huge ROACHES!

此住宿千萬別進來住，屋主會跟你多收清潔費，若你沒有支付，他不會給妳辦理入住有夠誇張！ 第二個誇張的就是太多蟑螂！ 總共住三四天遇到三次大蟑螂！第一次我在睡夢中蟑螂爬到我身上！第二次在我行李箱，第三次在沙發，每一隻都超級大隻！ 房子資訊裡面完全沒有提到要另外收清潔費，你到了他才會跟你說要收，真的很扯！還要求你轉帳，你如果沒有最好要有現金，不然你住不進去 更誇張的是屋主完全沒有要給任何回覆！已經過了兩天了，都沒有消息！ 除非你很喜歡蟑螂，不然千萬別住這間，有夠爛！屋主只會跟你說因為樓下是餐廳，有蟑螂是正常的事情！？然後完全不會理你！ 地板也是髒的不行，光腳走在地板上，腳底板全都是黑的！？ 這樣竟然還要清潔費我真的覺得可笑！ DO NOT stay at this place! The host will charge you an additional US$175 cleaning fee. If you don’t pay it, they won’t let you check in. This is absolutely ridiculous! The second ridiculous thing is that there are WAY too many cockroaches! We stayed here for only three or four days and encountered three huge cockroaches! The first time, a cockroach crawled onto my body while I was sleeping! The second time, there was one in my suitcase, and the third time, there was one on the sofa. Every single one of them was massive! The property information doesn’t mention the additional cleaning fee at all. They only tell you about it when you arrive, which is absolutely ridiculous! They also require you to transfer the money to them directly. If you don’t have a way to transfer the money, you’d better have cash, otherwise you won’t be able to stay there. What’s even more ridiculous is that the host has completely refused to respond to us! It’s already been two days, and we still haven’t received any response! Unless you really like cockroaches, DO NOT stay at this place. It’s absolutely terrible! The only thing the host will tell you is that there is a res

Major Ripoff. The lanai was locked and under construction during the entire stay, which we weren't informed about until 2 days before our arrival buried in check-in instructions (even though we booked 2 months in advance and construction had apparently been going on for over a month)--no offer to change accommodation or refund any portion of pre-paid booking for one bedroom with balcony and view. No mention of any construction in Expedia description. Buyer beware! Both Expedia and Semprose do not deliver what they sell you -- book elsewhere.
