The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating . We parked in the garage underneath the hotel which was very convenient. The location was awesome, across the street from the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants and notable tourist atrractions. This was a great place to stay.

Great hotel in a super location.

A great hotel with a super location and plenty of space for family groups. The kitchen facilities in each suite are an added bonus! The pool is very welcome when it’s warm and the sea is just across the road. Underground parking very handy too!

En el paseo marítimo

Apartamentos espaciosos con vistas al mar y al casco antiguo de Cefalú. Cómodo, limpio y nuevecito, no se puede pedir más. El personal es muy amable.La única pega es el desayuno, que va un poco justito, aunque es suficiente.

Astro Suite was a fantastic choice; clean, accommodating and all staff are extremely friendly. There’s an abundant breakfast spread every morning. The beach is literally across the street and the pool is outside the front door. I highly, highly recommend staying here 🇮🇹 🌊

On our initial check in, we realized we left a bag in Palermo. The concierge made arrangements for its return. He was fantastic. Breakfast was great, even though my kids made a mess. Pool was a good amenity as there was a day of rough sea that we could not swim. They allowed our friends from another hotel to sit with us there and have some drinks from the bar. My only issue is that I was promised in worrying a partial refund of one night (minus the Expedia fees) as we had to change our plans but never received it and the staff stopped responding to my emails

The staff were welcoming, the breakfast and coffee amazing, selection was good and food was fresh, underground secure parking. A few issues were that we had booked a balcony but arrived very late due to a delayed flight and we had a terrace instead of a balcony and we paid the same price. And there was an issue with the lock on the door. It wouldn't stay locked. The owner a very nice man came to try and fix it but it slipped and the door would not lock. Luckily nothing happened while we were out but I recommend booking a room off the main floor or confirming that you are secure as the patio doors open from both directions.

Ok - first the good things. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable - the sandy beach is just across the road and Cefalu town is about 7 minutes walk. Ask for a sea-facing room on the second floor - you’ll be in for a treat. However, this is at best a 3 star hotel and not 4 star, though the room prices are reflective of a 4 star hotel. The hotel is seriously understaffed, with the staff at the reception managing guests in the breakfast room. Quite often guests were seen queueing up at reception as there was only one staff present. Breakfast is tasty but nowhere close to the standard expected of a 4 star hotel - the coffee machine continued malfunctioning intermittently, the scrambled egg tray (a tiny one) continued remaining empty for a long time with guests waiting or moving onto the next item. The lift is old and needs immediate attention as the door sensor fails to detect motion and was almost closing in on my arm. These are little things but this is what distinguishes a higher starred hotel from the lower starred ones - and this is coming from someone who has stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels across the world - I know the expected standard, and unfortunately though this hotel is good it fell short across many areas. Having a good location and view is important but not more important than some of the observations I made above. Hope management takes this as a constructive criticism.
