Tembo Kiwengwa Resort is amazing, hotel is very clean and staff are caring and helpful. This is place is actually 100/10 rating. I have no words to add. The hotel itself is a vacation. Towels were a little musty, just bring your own towels.

This is the best hotel resort I ever been to, the food was delicious and the room was so luxury and good service despite it was new opens, one negative thing was the hotel was alcohol free but there was a lovely bar on the beach right beside the hotel 20 meters

The history of the Elephant House proceeds itself. The view is remarkable the staff is spectacular & no matter the request the service was immediate and impeccable. We booked this resort because of the walkout pool but enjoyed all aspects of the resort. From the welcoming hibiscus juice, to the handcrafted doors and framing throughout the property, all of the delicious fresh and local fruits, the picture perfect white sanded Beach with local artesian crafts sold at prices that beat any gift shop. The kitchen staff were very attentive and accommodating throughout the breakfast and dinner buffets and a la carte lunch on the beach. So unexpected but very appreciated were the nightly bed turned downs. We are very particular about clean rooms and this was one of the places we stayed we did not wear slippers in the shower. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We have no complaints about this resort. We urge you to visit the fourth floor where there is a pool that many don't know about with one of the best views on the island.

O hotel é novo, com uma estrutura de piscinas muito bom, lindo. A praia é maravilhosa também, água cristalina e com boa estrutura, com caiaques a disposição. Tem também uma quadra de padel. O quarto é grande, cama confortável. Tenho apenas algumas sugestões para o hotel, deixar mais explicito que o hotel não possui bebidas alcoólicas para a venda, sendo que vc pode beber, mas tem que adquirir nos hotéis ao lado e assinar um termo de compromisso. Melhorar o menu a la carte, pois tem poucas opções, a gente que é do Brasil teve uma dificuldade um pouco com as comidas, e melhorar também a academia, as esteiras não estavam funcionando e poucos pesos. Gostaria de agradecer aos funcionários, super prestativos, principalmente os do restaurante, se sentimos muito bem acolhidos, Khalid e Sampson principalmente.

The property itself is very nice and well kept. The staff were also great! The pool is nice but a little deep at 1.4m but I’m just short. They do need to do a better job of food safety and covering food from flies. If I didn’t make it right at buffet opening, everything was covered in bugs! Also it wasn’t clear enough that this was a no alcohol resort when booking (I don’t drink that much anyways) and I understand it’s Ramadan but other resorts still had activities and entertainment, this one was SILENT.

I don't really stay in resorts so I don't have much to compare. The grounds, facilities and rooms were immaculate and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The view from my room was stunning and the beach was also immaculate. Some things did come up that made my stay a little less enjoyable. This is an alcohol free resort, this was my fault for not realizing but there were restaurants nearby that served alcohol We left our previous hotel to catch a flight to Zanzibar at 4am. We arrived at the hotel starving. Unfortunately it was in between breakfast and lunch so no food options. We were advised that there were restaurants that serve all day which was not the case for us. We went door to door and were told 12:30. We finally found one and it took 1 hr and 15 minutes for our food which was past 12:30! We would have been fine with a premade sandwich Other minor things, we could not have 2 keys for our room so my friend and I couldn't really do our own thing without one of us being locked out. It also would have been helpful to have an ATM nearby. We wanted to leave tips but ran of of cash

I just returned from an incredible stay in Tanzania, and I'm still thinking about it. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The housekeeping team cleaned our room twice daily, twice!, and left everything pristine each time. It's the kind of attention to detail that makes you feel genuinely cared for. Speaking of care, the staff here set a new standard. Throughout the day, someone was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It never felt intrusive—just warm and attentive in a way that's increasingly rare. The dining experience was a pleasant surprise. Every meal was a buffet with a wonderful variety, and at $20, it's remarkable value. We never left hungry or disappointed. Now, the view. I don't say this lightly: it's so stunning you'll wonder if it's real. Whether from our room or the dinning area, I found myself stopping just to take it in, over and over again. And if you like to stay fit even on vacation, there's a gym and paddle court you can use use, neat and descently equipped. And for anyone who worries about safety while traveling, the security here put us completely at ease. And as the locals will say - Hukuna matata - Guards are stationed at the beach area, which added an extra layer of comfort that let us fully relax and enjoy ourselves. Tanzania stole my heart, and Tembo was a big part of why. I'll be back!

Hôtel très propre et bien entretenu. Les piscines et jacuzzis font également l’objet d’un bon suivi par le personnel. Le restaurant propose un buffet très varié et le personnel est très attentif et accueillant. Le Kid club est un vrai plus, notre fille de 5 ans ne voulait plus le quitter. Là encore, le personnel encadrant est très présent et à l’écoute. Petite déception sur la fin où malgré la présence de pièces pour se changer, nous avons été orientés vers les toilettes de la piscine où nous avons dû nous changer en famille au milieu des toilettes des femmes (celles des hommes étant dysfonctionnelles). A priori tout le personnel ne connaît pas l’existence de ces « guest rooms » destinées à permettre aux clients qui quittent l’hôtel tard de profiter des installations après le check out qui a lieu à 11:00.

Vi hadde en kjempe fin uke på Tempo hotell. Stor og fint hotell med god utsikt. Stort basseng og kjempe fin strand. Hotellet har buffet og à la carte til lunsj og middag. Anbefales og en spesiell takk til Hamida som gjorde restaurant opplevelsen kjempe hyggelig.
