Sioux falls has many beautiful things to see and do. Downtown feels safe and is very clean and accessible via walking paths. There are some areas closer to the fairgrounds that are under developed and can feel unsafe. Over all worth a weekend trip!

Note that Falls Park is not the same thing as the Sioux Falls. We found the falls and found the write-ups on the mill and hydroelectric plant history quite interesting. Ate at the Fry'n Pan which was pretty good.

We love Sioux Falls, especially the downtown area! It has many fun places to eat as well as unique shopping areas.
"Fantastic place to stay. Weekday happy hours. Free bikes to use on the trail behind the hotel. Free bottled water. Fire pits with wood that they will light up for you. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay. "
"The coffee was great but the breakfast choices in the store need expanded to include packaged donuts, honey buns, cinnamon rolls, dunkin sticks or similar. I wish they had a complimentary continental breakfast. "
