I got a room with windows that faced other windows into other people's rooms and no direct daylight. The only way to call the front desk is from your cell phone because there is no phone in the room. There are no drawers or closets, just oddly sized open racks and a high shelf.

Big room with kitchenette, clean and comfortable. Delicious Ethiopian complimentary coffee. Walking distance to Downtown and National Mall. The iconic restaurant Ebbit grill restaurant is close by. Gregory’s cafe is wonderful and just downstairs. Starbucks within 100 m.

Mint House has exceptional customer service!! Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. Upon check-in, it was neat and smelled good! It’s not too far from whatever you’re looking for, whether that’s food, drinks, or adult fun! Museums, the White House, and the infamous “U Street” are really close. Overall, it was a top-notch experience!
