Clarifier. We booked preferred for six nights and are 72/73.
The food at the four restaurants was subpar. The buffet restaurant was great except what should have been a warm offering like the fish was barely warm. Skinny filets. If you go for breakfast there they’ll make to order anything.
A couple afternoon activities at the main pool were fun to watch but few participated. No one wanted water volley ball or basketball. Football was throwing the ball through a target.
Lots of music and girls shimmying around in the pool.
The beach is public and a three minute walk. Genierally crowded.
Coffee in the rooms was boutique type. No cream or sweeteners. The walk from our room to get real coffee was a quarter mile round trip walk once you figure out the shortest route. Lukewarm by the time you got back to your room.
First time to any all inclusive resort anywhere. We anticipated basically just eating and drinking and hanging out and that’s what we did. Didn’t go to any evening events because they don’t start untill after we were ready for bed.
Became bored and with the restaurant food not being exciting we just left two days early.

Pros are the rooms are really nice, the resort is beautiful and the staff working there are excellent. Cons: in the middle of nowhere there is absolutely nothing but the resort on the remote tip of the island. They advertise 7 restaurants but only 4 are open for dinner and the menu never changes. The food is mediocre, not bad just not great. 10pm and everything shuts down apart from a sports bar where they do karaoke and a “disco”. The entertainment had a couple of decent nights, mainly the band who are pretty good but once again they are gone by 10pm, the steel drum player is good but he stops at 8pm. It’s so boring at this place. We had a ten day stay and were ready to leave after four. The swimming pool is freezing, hardly anyone goes in, the hot tub is cold it’s more like a whirlpool not a hot tub. The beach is small and littered with trash, they offer you a lounge chair but no umbrella or shade so it can be very hot. We love Aruba, we have been many times but this place felt more like Aruba Alcatraz isolated and boring. Eagle beach resorts such as the Divi chain are far more in tune with offering a great vacation as are the resorts in Palm beach. Secrets push a hard sell on their vacation club. Maybe if you want total peace and quiet and are an early to bed kind of person this is for you. Unfortunately it was not for us and MANY other guests we spoke to were highly disappointed.

Everything was amazing! The resort is new, clean, modern, beautiful, and well laid out. The amenities were all nice and there was lots of staff members available for any needs. Even the food and drinks were phenomenal. I would try another secrets resort again.

Secrets Baby Beach Aruba ranking an 8.2 is a giveaway that some reviewers don’t actually understand Aruba. My family has been coming here for decades and we now own a home on the island; I’ve stayed for weeks at a time at nearly every major property—Palm Beach high-rises (Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz), Eagle Beach low-rises, every major timeshare (Divi, Casa del Mar, ABC), boutique spots like Manchebo, and even checked out JOIA—and this is easily the nicest hotel in Aruba. Baby Beach is hands-down the best beach on the island for swimming and chilling: calm, shallow, crystal-clear water with none of the Palm Beach chaos. The complaints come from people expecting “action” on the quiet side of the island; if your idea of nightlife is a few guys drinking until 1am in a Palm Beach bar, you booked the wrong resort (and maybe the wrong beach). Secrets is for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, and couples who actually want to relax. Think the EDITION brand—ultra-modern, design-forward, polished, calm and actually is all-inclusive, and the food is included and exceptional. On a very small island with a limited supply chain, Secrets somehow delivers the best food in Aruba: four excellent dinner restaurants, outstanding Italian (best risotto on the island—my partner is Italian), the strongest buffet I’ve seen here, and sushi that’s shockingly good for the Caribbean. Aruba is about weather, beaches, and unwinding - Secrets is a 10 as good as it gets.

Great customer service! Shout out to Jonathan (one of the resturant managers) for making our experience great! One of the waiters found my earring that I dropped at the restaurant and gave it to Jonathan, who went above and beyond to find us and give it back!
Another great employee was Nathaniel who helped us with our resort vouchers/excursions/contacting private taxi services without us even asking!
Resort was very clean and food was really good!
