Excellent location in the Plantagenêt City and close to several excellent Bistros. Beautiful historic French house with a courtyard. Access via emails and codes works really well. Tea and coffee making facilities plus some coffee/biscuits/shower gel supplied - really generous given the reasonable rates. Very comfortable bed. Thanks for a lovely stay

The host was unresponsive to my inquiries via Expedia. However, I had better luck using WhatsApp to communicate once we arrived. The apartment was spacious and well situated to walk to restaurants and old town. There is no on-site or street parking or an elevator. Those items were not an issue for us, but something to be mindful of if you will be driving or have large suitcases.

Das Zimmer war sauber und imposant.Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Gartenblick, dieser gehört nicht zum „Hotel“. Es gibt einen häßlichen Innenhof, dort stehen auch die Mülltonnen, mit zwei Plastikstühlen und einem -tisch, vermutlich die Raucherecke. Es gibt kein Personal vor Ort. Und unsere Anrufe wurden nicht entgegengenommen. Es gibt auch kein Frühstück. Das Hotel ist also kein Hotel im klassischen Sinn. Bis auf Kaffee und Tee ist auch keine Selbstverpflegung möglich. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank, so dass es möglich ist für ein Frühstück am Schreibtisch oder im Bett einzukaufen. Die Klimaanlage ist eine Standklimasäule, die ihren Job gemacht hat. Da unser Zimmer ruhig lag, konnten wir nachts das Fenster öffnen. Es gibt KEINEN PARKPLATZ am Hotel. Kurz davor halten um Auszuladen ist möglich. Zu empfehlen ist das Parkhaus unterhalb des Kinos, wir haben von 16.30 Uhr bis morgens 5€ bezahlt. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein großes Plus. Wir waren als Paar für eine Übernachtung dort. Für mich stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

This place is advertised as an hotel. It is really Airbnb-style rooms. The room was ok but did not have air-conditioning as claimed.

We got to the property late in the evening but had the access codes to the gate and the room. When we got into the property it was pitch black and had to use a torch as all the lights were off which is a bit of a security issue. We had a room on the 2nd floor and the daytime temperature that day was in the mid 30’s. We got to the room we found out that the Dyson fan was broken and had no way to get it fixed. The temperature in the room must have been pushing 40 and when I tried to take a shower I found out that the main shower head was broken and had to use the hand held part which wasn’t ideal. To get any kind of sleep in this sauna we had to wet towels and try to sleep with these on us. Not a pleasant experience & worst night’s sleep ever. Would not recommend.

Er was niemand aanwezig in het hotel. Pas na 5 keer telefoneren kon ik iemand bereiken. De toegestuurde code om de poort te openen werkte echter niet. De tweede code werkte wel. De binnenplaats was slecht verlicht waardoor de ingang van het hotel moeilijk te vinden was. Na zoeken en telefoneren werd de kamer uiteindelijk gevonden in een aanpalend gebouw. De kamer was moeilijk toegankelijk wegens een wenteltrap die moeilijk met een valies te beklimmen viel. De kamer zelf was oud en versleten. Het bed was goed, maar de verwarmingsinstallatie maakt de ganse nacht door een luid lawaai van stromend water. Er was echter niemand in het hotel om dit aan te klagen. Ik raad dit hotel dan ook zeer sterk af.

Total SCAM. They advertise AC and there is no AC and absolutely no communication. They email you with a check in time, and a code and standard lock box code to enter the room. We couldn’t get in as it was very hot out and though we could get through the front entry, we tried for hours to get in our room which they stated was on the “second” floor and the code did not work. Just to find out that they consider the entry (street level) the “0” floor and the second floor was actually on the third floor. We chose this hotel because they advertised it as being air conditioned and there is only an electric floor fan. It was stifling. So we left even though it was too late to get a refund. Luckily, Expedia found us a hotel room with air-conditioning and exchanged it because it was false advertising. No water (unless you pay for the two bottles which were in the refrigerator), no conditioner, no communication. We were trying to contact them for over two hours, with no response ever, we lost a full day of travel. As a former owner of hotels, it is the most unacceptable form of hospitality.

Outre un accueil froid et peu chaleureux, la bâtisse ainsi que la chambre correspondent parfaitement aux photos présentées. Je reste toutefois avec un goût amer concernant l’accueil qui m’a été réservé. Cette expérience ne me donne malheureusement pas envie de revenir, ni de recommander cette chambre d’hôtes. C’est vraiment dommage, car le lieu a du charme. On regrette simplement de ressentir que le client est davantage considéré comme un portefeuille sur pattes que comme un véritable hôte.
