Nice location right on the promenade. Our condo had an ocean view when you positioned yourself on the balcony a certain way but while the building was ocean front I wouldn't say our actual accommodations were. Despite the construction going on, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the spaciousness of the unit and the well appointed kitchen. It could use some more outlets and better lighting in the bedrooms. Would stay again because the value was there.

The property was under construction where people where painting and all prep literally outside our door and had to stop working to move out of our doorway whenever we would leave. I had to navigate me toddler and kids down the walkway that had wet paint and sharp building materials and toxic fumes. It was terrible. The started working right outside our window at 9am—waking everyone up.

This was a great location and staff friendly but I have never stayed in a VRBO property that was so tattered. Carpet had dog pee spots all over and bathrooms were from the 1970’s, avocado green and harvest gold. All cabinets had scratches and smelled like old wood. The kitchen was very nice though and beds were comfortable. I would advise to leave air freshener to cover the wet dog smell. Advise others to look closely at pictures as well. Table tops were worn and needed refinishing. Since everything worked well like AC and stove I would rate it better than I would have normally.

Bad customer service from the higher ups, they downgraded us after finding out there is a leak in our room going to the room beneath, and they still wanted to charge me more than the full price I would’ve payed for that new room if I had booked it a month ago. Once I said I didn’t want to pay full price, they started threatening me and my partner that our things would be thrown out if we don’t pay and that we would have to vacate. We had to cancel our entire vacation and go back home, because every other place around was booked already or needed to have “time share”. There was also construction we didn’t know about that we only found out right after we couldn’t cancel the vacation anymore without a refund, which also woke us up at 8am. Wasted 6 hrs of my time being there just being on the phones and messages with them about refunds and talking about the inconveniences, but it of course it ended up with everyone unhappy. Lady at the front desk was easy to talk to and very friendly, but sadly she didn’t have any power to help us and could only show us her empathy, by going out of her way off work to get us a goodie bag.
You can easily see the shadows through the curtain and if you’re upclose can also tell what it is.
You can clearly see in the bedroom between the curtain and the wall too.

First of all, this is a nice property, meaning the building and amenties. It’s on the beach/promenade, and the grounds are well maintained. Our issue was not with Sand and Seas, our issue was with our unit. We paid a great deal of money and there was old dirty carpeting, old hard beds giving us back aches and outdated fixtures (from the front door to the lack of outlets, etc). Please don’t misunderstand, the condo has great potential! The view is amazing with beautiful windows and balcony, and it was quiet and pleasant. It just needs the appropriate makeover with flooring, fixtures, paint and bedding to make it the luxury condo it truly has the potential to be.

Toilets were super low. Very hard to use with bad knees. The kitchen spices were limited to salt and pepper. If you wanted to cook something, you'd literally need to bring everything you could possibly need. TV did not have any streaming ability I could think of. Seems like you'd need to bring a DVD if you wanted to watch anything. (Remember DVDS?). THE PLACE WAS WAY OVERPRICED IN MY OPINION.
